2nd Technical Meeting in Filar OptoMaterials | Tortolì

On July 19, IQONIC technology providers met in Tortolì, Italy, for the 2nd Technical Meeting at Filar OptoMaterial.

The meeting focused on the implementation of the FILAR use case concerning the Crystal Manufacturing and the Crystal – Heat Sink Assembly use case.

This on-site meeting will help IQONIC technology providers to better design advanced instruments and mechanisms for the Quality Control reinforcement and thus to improve the control and efficiency of the existing manufacturing processes.

The methodologies and technologies, developed within IQONIC, will allow FILAR 1) to increase the accuracy of the QC and monitoring system in order to verify the conformity to the optical, geometrical and functional specifications; 2) to predict and detect defects in the various stages of the production process through multiple sensors and non-invasive smart measurement systems; 3) to reduce waste through measurement methodologies that will provide feedbacks for the proper tuning.
