WP1_Ethics requirements
This work package sets out the ‘ethics requirements’ that the project must comply with.
WP2_Requirements and Conceptual Process Chain Design
The objectives of the WP are:
- Define, analyse and consolidate user requirements: Strategies, updated needs, performance and specs data.
- Update the State of the Art analysis and monitor patents and new technologies
- Elaborate overall architecture, IQONIC Strategies, component specs, process-chain
- Design in detail and develop the IQONIC use cases
- Monitor IQONIC Strategy implementation.
WP3_Opto-Electrical System Design for Assembly and Disassembly Start month
The objectives of the WP are:
- Define, analyse and consolidate assembly processes and parameter data interfaces for active and passive components functionalities
- Derive requirements for component and system design data entry and output points to be used in assembly and disassembly
- Develop the data-driven assembly and disassembly pro-cess-chain model
WP4_Data Management, Sensors, and Processes Design and Setup
The objectives of the WP are:
- To define the IQONIC sensorial network and introduce novel self-adjustment mechanisms through a suitable network management module
- To develop the in-line sensors of adaptive optics and electronic nose for evaluation of materials
- To employ the smart grasping system to adjust the handling process based on the design requirements
- To deploy a new middleware to realise semantic interconnection of sensors with the IQONIC core elements and existing information infrastructure.
WP5_Defect Life-Cycle Management, Dissassembly and Remanufacturing
The objectives of the WP are:
- To employ a defect management strategy for different defect types
- To analyse the severity of defects and provide decision support for their rework, reuse or recycling
- To deploy techniques for reuse or requalification of different defect types
- To develop a CPS with integrated software to categorise product
- To develop a DSS to host the reverse supply chain and closing the loop of photonics manufacturing.
WP6_Process and Artificial Intelligence Implementation
The objectives of the WP are:
- To develop models for predicting defects due to deterioration of machinery condition
- To develop multi-parametric models of product instances (at single stage)
- To build an autonomous, self-adjusted inference engine for real-time inspection and control at the shop-floor and decision support at single and multiple stage (manufacturing) level
- Interfacing with MES and other higher level management systems.
WP7_Integration & Testing - Validation
The objectives of the WP are:
- Integrate all s/w components and h/w platforms of the IQONIC solution through a predefined integration methodology and schedule
- Define and execute technology validation plan at TRL5
- Validate the IQONIC solution at TRL6 through pilot demonstration (1st demonstration phase)
- Produce the initial validated TRL5 version of IQONIC for the extended 2nd phase demonstration
- Facilitate transferability and take-up of IQONIC through the production of a comprehensive White Paper
WP8_Use Case Demonstration and Assessment
The objectives of the WP are:
- Define methodological framework for IQONIC evaluation through extensive demonstration
- Demonstrate the TRL5 validated IQONIC at operational environment of 4 complex demonstrators
- Execute valuation Plan, collect demonstration data, synthesise results and draw conclusions
- Perform last system improvements based on demonstration and evaluation conclusions
WP9_Dissemination/Communication/Exploitation
The objectives of the WP are:
- Develop dissemination assets; raise awareness through engagement in effective outreach activities
- Ensure widespread use of IQONIC within the manufacturing industries and target market segments; maximise exploitation opportunities for partners; establish Joint Venture; and seek for follow-up investments.
- Manage IQONIC innovation effectively and take appropriate actions to protect IPR knowledge.
