iQonic Kick-off meeting | Brussels

The iQonic kickoff meeting held on October 26th 2018 in Brussels set the official start of the project.
The aim of the meeting was to outline the main goals and the expected results of the project, to introduce all iQonic partners together with their role and responsibility for each work-package.

iQonic aims to help the European optoelectrical manufacturing industries in facing the evolution of the equipment and manufacturing processes, the increase in complexity and the need for more dynamic systems configurations. This project, coordinated by FRAUNHOFER-IOF , seeks to offer a scalable zero defect manufacturing platform covering the overall process chain, ranging from the design of new opto-electrical components and their required optimized process chain, their assembly process, to their disassembly and reintroduction into the value chain at their end-of-life.
